March 1, 2024 – March 2, 2024 · Lewis & Clark Law School, Portland, Oregon, USA · In personA collaboration between CINETS and Oxford-based Border Criminologies, this conference aimed to broaden the study of crimmigration to include migration-control strategies in the global south, the impact of colonialism, and comparison across less-studied boundaries.
Organised by Juliet Stumpf with co-hosts Doris Marie Provine and Maartje van der Woude, the gathering brought together scholars from institutions around the world to discuss crimmigration through new geographies, comparative insights, and evolving state responses to human movement.
